• This is a robust rootstock with a good affinity to cherry trees with acid fruits. It also possesses a good compatibility to sweet cherries with firm flesh.
  • Even if it is productive, the fruit set is quite long.
  • Its semi-swivel root structure allows for adaptation in rocky, dry and calciferous terrains.  The cultivation of cherry trees on the rootstock is not recommended in heavy or irrigated terrains with low-permeability. It is important that the terrain be healthy so that SL 64 is able to demonstrate its excellent behavior in orchards.
  • Non-suckering.
